You don’t have to be a sailor to enjoy the sea, even if you are, sometimes you just want to kick back and relax. Helm Yacht Charters have the best-in-class skippers and crew to take the strain. Having an experienced skipper means they’ll have local knowledge of the waters you wish to sail as well as the best kept secrets and hidden gems. They’ll also know the prime times to go ashore so you miss the crowds and won’t waste valuable time.
If you fancy a turn at the helm the skipper will happily supervise you. Learn as much or as little as you like during your time on board but most of all enjoy yourself. Take in the scenery, take a dip or sit back and sample the local cuisine. You’ve got the best of both worlds on a skippered charter.
“You’re gonna need a bigger boat”. If there’s a large group of you interested in a sailing holiday then a flotilla ticks all the boxes. As part of a flotilla you’ll have the independence to sail as part of the group or go it alone and meet up with your party later on.

If you’ve got crewing experience and want to move up or you just want to brush up on skills, then a learn to sail holiday is the answer.
Our best-in-class training skippers have salt water running through their veins and know how to get the best from those wishing to learn. You’ll also benefit from a number of qualifications and as your expertise and experience grows, so too will your need to progress. We’ll support you and make sure you know your knots (ropes and lines) from your knots (travelling speed).

The booking process
To get started you’ll need to complete this form so we can begin to build a picture of your ideal holiday. Don’t worry if you’re just looking, we’re here to help and would love to suggest a charter for you.
You will be appointed a member of the team who will guide you through the process. They will recommend three experiences, which will include destinations, yacht and activities – all based on your application. Prices will also be included.
Once you have received your three experiences we can then work together to finesse your preferred one. We will ensure you are left with a truly bespoke holiday that ticks all your boxes.
